This beautiful scarf is handwoven with the fibre of Huacaya alpacas - which are bred, sheared, and hand-spun by Quechua women in the mountain community of Cancha Cancha, Peru, 3951 metres (12,963 feet) above sea level, in the Andes. The alpaca fibre is all natural, with no dyes, utilizing some of the 22 different natural colour variations of the alpaca breeds.
This handwoven scarf is 100% Peruvian Alpaca, a twill pattern in Alpaca browns, with a 4" fringe on each end.
CARE OF YOUR WEAVING:
Handwovens should be very gently hand-washed in cold water with a good wool-friendly detergent. Use very little agitation and do not wring or use a dryer. Hang dry only. Alternatively, all weavings may be dry-cleaned.
